Welcome to COTT

COTT is committed to working within the context of broad collaborative efforts and coalition building with a wide array of communities, agencies, organizations, and individuals who seek control individual over their own health care. A central theme of the COTT is the development and implementation of programmatic initiatives which illuminate an empowerment road map for the diverse communities impacted by HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases/disorders. We believe that health is a right and not a privilege and seek to create a world where the health and well being of all peoples replaces profit as the priority.

Rachel Warner Scholarship Program

COTT’s Rachel Warner Scholarship program will not be available for the foreseeable future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create, and look forward to re-instating the program as soon as possible in future years.

Dear Corey and COTT Board Members,

We apologize for the delay in sending this. Dick and I were in his office this morning looking at the very nice plaque that was given to him by the Committee of Ten Thousand and I was moved to thank you for the honor that was bestowed upon him. When we look at that plaque, we see blood, sweat and tears. It is bitter sweet. Proud of all the achievements, but sad for all the pain that was bestowed on our community. Losses caused by death and losses caused by betrayal. May God bless you all and the work that you do.

    Sincerely,

    Gloria Valdez

    Dear Corey
It’s been a long time since I have spoke to you, I hope all is well with you and your family. I think the last time we spoke was at Millie Gonzalez services. I don’t know if you ever heard about Debbie Schiebner she passed four years ago from lung cancer. I know this is not the right forum to tell you this. I work at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and we have the National Minority Aids council here for a convention and as I walk around and see all the Aids blankets it takes me back to the 80′s. That was a difficult time but Deb was so proud of the organization and what it had accomplished. Tell Dick and Ed I said Hi. God bless all of you.
